Memberships in the Port Ludlow Artists’ League are $40 (or $20 after August 1st) for a calendar year. Be a members and receive these benefits:

Abstact painter Wanda Mawhinney at the Festival by the Bay

  • Attendance at our monthly meetings where we encourage and share our love of art. We feature established and well-known artists to provide demonstrations and share techniques in a variety of mediums. Whether it’s your medium or not, you’re sure to learn something to help you in your artwork.
  • Participation in our “Challenges” where we explore our creativity. During the year, members are “challenged” to explore their creativity with a special assignment. Past challenges have included creating masks for Mardi Gras, creating collages using special materials, creating a piece of artwork using primarily one color, etc. The best in categories are voted on with “winners” receiving a small token award.

  • Ability to participate and show work at the League’s sponsored Gallery located in the upper village in Port Ludlow. Please see the Gallery tab to learn more.
  • Participation in our Merchant Exhibit program. Members also have the option of showing their work in the various businesses around the Port Ludlow area.

  • Being Featured as an Artist of the Month. Members can choose to have their artwork displayed prominently in the lobby of Sound Bank in the upper Village at Port Ludlow. The Artist of the Month is also celebrated with a special reception at the Bank and the Gallery on the second Wednesday of the month.
  • Participation in the Festival by the Bay, which is a special community wide festival in the summer to celebrate life in Port Ludlow. Members may have a booth to display and sell their artwork to people who come to the Festival from all over the area.

  • Ability to have a page on the League’s website to show and sell their artwork to the broad community on the Internet.

Or simply come to one of our meetings — the third Wednesday of the month — January through June at the Bay Club (120 Spinnaker Place) or July through December at the Beach Club (121 Marina View Drive).
